Results from last week start on Friday at the 3/4-mile Richmond Raceway in Virginia, where they hosted the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Representing the Halmar-Friesen Racing team were Stewart Friesen, who qualified ninth, and Christopher Bell, who qualified 17th for the Clean Harbors 250. Thunderstorms postponed activities until noontime on Saturday at the 3/4-mile asphalt oval. Unfortunately for Bell, he had to miss the NCTS event due to commitments to his NASCAR Cup Series team, and Leland Honeyman Jr. subsequently substituted for him. Stage one saw Stewart finish 14th and Leland 21st. In stage two, Friesen finished 13th and Honeyman 19th. In the third and final stage, late-race contact with the wall ended Stewart’s day, placing him in 36th position, while Leland finished 17th.
Albany-Saratoga Speedway received a downpour just before race time and was forced to cancel.

SummerFAST kicked off with Weedsport Speedway hosting the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds in the Hall of Fame 100. Also on the program were DIRTcar Sportsman and Mod Lites. In SDS redraw for position, Jack Lehner pulled the pole. However, it was Alex Payne leading the first 55 laps, with Lehner inheriting the lead after Payne slid into the turn-one outside wall. In the end, Stewart Friesen earned the victory and the $10,000 check. Matt Sheppard finished second. Mat Williamson originally finished third, but unfortunately, Williamson's No. 88 came up light at the scales during post-race inspection; he was disqualified and officially listed last in 27th. Jack Lehner was moved into third, followed by Alex Yankowski, Anthony Perrego, Felix Roy, Peter Britten (eighth), Justin Stone (15th), and Brian Calabrese (19th). For Stewart, this was his 57th career SDS win. Tony Finch II won the DIRTcar Sportsman 30-lap feature, and Dillon Raffurty won the 25-lap Mod Lite feature.
Brewerton Speedway hosted night number two of SummerFAST for the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modified division in a 60-lap feature. Alex Yankowski had quite the night as he set quick time, pulled the pole in the redraw, and held the lead as the field crossed the finish line. The entire 60 laps was a three-way battle back and forth among Yankowski, Alex Payne, and Jimmy Phelps. Results showed Yankowski, Payne, and Ronnie Davis III completing the podium. Jack Lehner finished sixth, Amy Holland-Buff seventh, Felix Roy eighth, Peter Britten ninth, Anthony Perrego 12th, and Justin Stone 13th.
