Life Lessons at MCS

MIDDLEBURGH - Middleburgh high school Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) last week partnered with local emergency responders and organizations to help keep our communities safe.

A dramatic crash simulation showed how quickly a night can change. Afterward, students moved through hands-on stations, from impaired driving simulations to peer pressure role-play to a moving victim impact video. School officials are proud of the students for taking part and asking thoughtful questions.

As prom and graduation approach, officials remind all students: make a plan, stay aware and take care of one another.

MCS officials are grateful to the Schoharie County Sheriff’s Office, Schoharie County Probation Department, Middleburgh Volunteer Fire Department, West Fulton Fire Department, Middleburgh Ambulance and Schoharie County Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse for their time, care and dedication.
