O’Brien Reaches Century Mark

WINDHAM - The century mark has been reached by Pete O’Brien, a deeply-respected resident of the town, World War II veteran and past commander of VFW Post #1545 in Windham. A ceremonial procession of well-wishers took place, driving past Mr. O’Brien’s residence between the hamlets of Maplecrest and Hensonville, led by volunteer firefighters from Hensonville and the town of Ashland. The 100-year-old birthday boy was joined by friend Steve Alberti.
