SSCS Clay Target Team Places 2nd

SHARON SPRINGS — The Sharon Springs Central School Clay Target Team has started their Spring season this April after an excellent Fall! The team is in their 3rd competition week of the season and took 2nd place on Saturday May 9th.

Team Highlights: TOP SCORER today was JACKSON RYDER with 45/50 clays hit!!! Right behind him was HUNTER BOLSTER with 44/50 clays hit! Not far behind them was LEVI KNAPP & DALTON OLIVER with 42/50 clays hit! And right on their tails were NICHOLAS THOM & MICHAEL MOSCHETTI with 41/50 clays scored!! (This was also Michael’s very best score EVER!!!) Some shout outs to some other team members who may not be at the top of the scoring charts YET, but today had their BEST scores of the season: BENJAMIN HOAG, ROAN JOHNSON, CAIDEN CASTLE, and GRANT POTTER!

This year the SSCS Clay Target Team will hold competitions each Saturday at 9 AM now through May 23rd! Any and all are welcome to come on down to Sprout Brook Rod and Gun Club (1364 State Highway 163 Canajoharie NY) to support this local team!

This season the SSCS Clay Target Team is in Class 3A Conference 2 competing against: Akron Central School, Copenhagen Central School, Morristown Central High School, Red Jacket High School, Stillwater Central School, and Voorheesville High School.
