Troopers Respond to Single Vehicle Fatal Crash in Andes

ANDES — On May 16, at approximately 8:21 p.m., New York State Police at Margaretville and the Richfield Springs Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to a one vehicle crash on County Highway 1 and Little Dingle Hill Road in the town of Andes.

An investigation at the scene determined that Ethan Ray Kennedy, 27, of Delhi was operating a 1995 Mazda MX-5 Miata on County Highway 1 when he lost control, went off the roadway and struck an earth embankment causing the vehicle to roll and land on its roof. Kennedy did not survive.
