ROXBURY — Labor Day weekend in Roxbury reached its traditional crescendo Sunday evening as neighbors and friends gathered at Kirkside Park for an evening of food, games, dancing and fireworks, bringing one of the summer’s final big community celebrations to a joyful close.Now in its sixth year, the Roxbury Community Potluck has become a late-summer tradition organized by Friends of Roxbury members

The 59th Annual Gas Up filled two weekends with antique engines, tractors, demonstrations, great food, live music, homemade ice cream, and family fun along with a celebration of Flag Day, Father's Day, and the First Day of Summer. The show was presented by the HUDSON-MOHAWK CHAPTER of the PIONEER GAS ENGINE ASSOCIATION, Inc. The show is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of mechanical means of a bygone era.
