COBLESKILL — Cobleskill-Richmondville Juniors Gabriella Babcock, Jared Becker, Avrie Dimick, Thomas Ellis, Larissa Hackney, Logan Hartmann, Molly Hay, Sienna Holm, Emma Kauffmann, Brady Lampron, Kayden Righi, Rebecca Redmond, Haley Slater,  Connor Testa, Laney Trappenburg, Landon Yatrakis, and Alyvia Zipperle have been recognized for excellence by Alfred State College, Alfred University, Clarkson University, Elmira College,  Keuka College, LeMoyne College, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI),  Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Russell Sage College, and the University of Rochester. 

Connor Testa and Avrie Dimick received the Alfred State College Pioneer Leaders Award.  Connor’s award provides a $1,500 per year scholarship for two years of an Associate Degree.  Avrie’s will receive $4,000 per year for a four year Bachelor’s degree.

Brady Lampton and Thomas Ellis both earned recognition from Clarkson University in recognition of outstanding leadership qualities and academic promise.  Brady’s Clarkson University Achievement Award is worth $80,000, paid over four years. The Clarkson University Leadership Award earned by Thomas is the highest honor awarded by Clarkson as a $100,000 Scholarship over four years of study.

Elmira College has awarded the Elmira College Key Award to Emma Kauffmann. This award grants Emma $22,000 per year.  This new award for C-R students is one of the oldest programs in the country honoring high school juniors.    

Keuka College has awarded the George H. Ball Community Achievement Award to Kayden Righi. Kayden will receive at least $88,000 in merit scholarships over four years of undergraduate study at Keuka College.   

Landon Yatrakis earned the LeMoyne College Heights Award that recognizes Landon’s success while “Reaching for the Heights” in the classroom, school, and community. The Heights Award is a $17,000 per year scholarship.

 Laney Trappenburg was awarded the Rensselaer Medal.  A $40,000 per year merit scholarship for four years at RPI is awarded to juniors who have distinguished themselves in mathematics and science.   

Rochester Institute of Technology has recognized Larissa Hackney, Logan Hartmann and Alyvia Zipperle with scholarships worth $24, 000 per year.  Larissa received the RIT High School Award in Science and Math.  Logan’s award is in the area of Business and Leadership.  Alyvia’s award recognizes Humanities and Social Sciences.  

Rebecca Redmond and Sienna Holm received recognition from the University of Rochester each worth $5,000 per year.  Rebecca was awarded the Susan B. Anthony Social Issues Award.  Sienna was awarded the Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award.  

Gabriella Babcock, Jared Becker, Molly Hay and Haley Slater received the Russell Sage College Student Sage Award.  This scholarship for a minimum of $21,000 per year is awarded to students who embody the Russell Sage College motto of “Be. Know. Do.” 

All scholarship awards are contingent on the students enrolling in the institution that has recognized them.
