ARKVILLE — Gain peace of mind when you make a donation at the much anticipated art auction and concert to benefit the Delaware County Democratic Committee.  And take home a valuable work of art donated by a well-known area artist!

A one-time event will be held at the Union Grove Distillery in Arkville from 3-6 PM on Saturday, June 13.  In addition to an art auction and concert by popular musicians Adam Ippolito, Loren Daniels and Andy Cahill, several candidates on the ballot in November will be on hand to meet and greet.  Although admission is free, the grass roots Democrats aim to raise funds through its art auction to help get out the vote for the 2026 election in November.

Twenty professional area artists, artisans and photographers have donated their works to be awarded to the highest bidders.  And when you purchase a work of art, 100 per cent of that amount will be paid to the DCDC.

Donors not only contribute to a worthy cause, but also walk out with a valuable work of art.  It's a case of doubling your money.  In addition, it’s a case of doubling the fun and assuring democratic values.  So mark the calendar for a not=to-miss event, just a few weeks from now!

In addition to the live music, attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with several Democratic candidates campaigning for state legislature and municipal leadership positions in the upcoming 2026 election cycle. Among the featured speakers are Michele Frazier, who is running for the New York State Senate in District 51, and Assembly candidates Janet Tweed and Vicki Davis, running in Districts 102 and 121, respectively. Local town supervisor candidates Tom O’Brien of Roxbury and Glen Faulkner of Middletown will also be on hand to discuss municipal issues with voters.

Rounding out the event is a silent auction featuring 22 distinct works of art contributed by regional painters, photographers, sculptors, and crafters. While admission to the gathering at the 43311 State Highway 28 venue is free, financial donations are strongly encouraged to help fund local campaign mobilization and voter turnout initiatives.
