HOBART – Want to listen to great live music, hang out with your neighbors, and help pull off the best summer party in Delaware County? The Hobart Rotary Club invites you to join the volunteer team for this year’s Hobart Rotary Sausage and Brew Festival!

The festival is an admission-free community celebration that kicks off on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM under the big tent at the Town Park, located at 101 Maple Ave in Hobart, NY.

Volunteering at the festival isn’t just about helping out—it is about sharing in the laid-back camaraderie that makes our community so special. It is a fantastic afternoon spent sharing delicious local farm food with neighbors, welcoming friendly visitors to our beautiful county, and making new friends behind the scenes.

The best part? You get to do all of this while enjoying an afternoon of fantastic, non-stop live music! This year's lineup truly has something for everyone, featuring three incredible bands playing Big Band Jazz, classic Rock 'n Roll, and Country.

Volunteers are needed in every capacity including tent setup, grilling, parking, greeting guests at the gate with a friendly smile and serving up our famous farm-to-table sausage dinners and thirst-quenching, local craft beers.

Hobart Rotary is a small club with a handful of dedicated members. The festival attracts nearly 1,000 guests each year and requires about 30 hands-on workers to pull it off. Enthusiastic volunteers from the community are absolutely critical to this joyous event.

"Our festival keeps growing every year, but the heart of the event is always our volunteer crew," said Rotarian Lisa Driscoll. "There is a real sense of pride and joy in working together to throw this party. Plus, you get a front-row seat to three amazing live bands and the best food around. It’s simply the most fun you can have while giving back to your community!"

Every dollar raised from food-and-drink sales goes right back into the local community, supporting the Hobart Rotary Club's youth programs, local development, and civic improvements.
