TANNERSVILLE – The Hunter-Tannersville Girls Varsity Soccer Team defeated Gilboa-Conesville-Roxbury 5-4 during their first official Delaware League game, which took place at home in Tannersville on September 8.
H-T’s Girls Varsity Soccer Coach Bobbi Schmitt said, “I thought our girls played a great game! We’re consistently moving forward and building on what we do each day to become a better team.”
Coach Schmitt added, “Overall, I am just super happy to help contribute to our Girls Varsity Soccer Team. I hope they are able to [graduate] loving the game of soccer, and evolve into confident young ladies who lead both on and off the soccer field.”
H-T’s #13 Mason Streich scored three goals with one assist; #3 Lily Constable scored two goals; and powerhouse #11 Linsey Bellinger had one assist.
For GCR, #31 Addison Bruck scored two goals with two assists; and both #39 Madi Goodchild and #1 Quinnci Olmstead scored a goal apiece.
