MIDDLEBURGH — Another record-breaking Middleburgh Oktoberfest is in the books. The annual festival more than 500 thirsty "Festers" and several wonderful participating breweries poured more pints than ever before this year at Bill Morton Park on Baker Avenue Saturday afternoon.
The games - steinholding, boot chugging, and tug of war - were all great hits and the bands, None the Weiser and Crossfire were awesome. The food was delicious.
A very special thanks to Cinderhawk Creative for taking photographs of the special day in the Village of Middleburgh.
Oktoberfest is a labor of love by a group of people who really love the Middleburgh community and a nice pint of ale. They meet for seven months leading up to the Fest and although it lasts only five and a half hours each year, the camaraderie, friendship, and fun experienced in those few hours makes every second worth it.
