“Remember the Ladies” at Schoharie Daughters of the American Revolution

Old Stone Fort volunteer and Revolutionary War reinactor Erica Schmidt addresses the crown under the tent at Lasell Hall about the ladies from Edenton, North Carolina who led a revolt know as the Edenton Tea Party in 1774.

Anne Marie Collin and Andrea Clapper were two of the ladies who took part in “Remember the Ladies” – A Revolutionary Tea Party, with 18th century teas, authentic 18th century treats and talk about how women were affected by and contributed to the American Revolution.

Deborah Rizzo-Wittlin signs a copy of the Edenton Resolves, a letter to the King that was part of the 1774 Edenton Tea Party.
