Schoharie Athletic Director Carley Ryan presents the Western Athletic Conference Profiles in Courage Award to Lily Davis. A member of the JV Volleyball team, Davis’ life changed and became a battle several months ago when she suffered a brain bleed caused by an AVM. She awoke unable to move the left side of her body, spent weeks in intensive care and endured multiple procedures and surgeries before beginning the long and difficult road of rehabilitation. Lily has shown incredible strength, determination, and perseverance. Meeting every challenge with courage far beyond her years, and demonstrating character, perseverance and the courage to keep moving forward when the path ahead seemed impossible. Lily’s strength has inspired her teammates, coaches, her school, her family, and our entire community.
