MARGARETVILLE - The Open Eye Theater in Margaretville is hosting 12 Angry Electrics, a solo courtroom thriller conceived, written, and performed entirely by seven-time Emmy Award winner and veteran NYU Tisch professor William Electric Black (celebrated resident artist at the 2018 Regional Theatre Tony Award-winning La MaMa, and well-known for his extensive writing tenure on Sesame Street and creative work with Nickelodeon).
In this intense performance, Black masterfully brings all 12 conflicting jurors to life himself in a custom-tailored, immersive courtroom staging that places the audience directly at the center of the dramatic tension.
