Celebrate Haudenosaunee creativity at this vibrant event featuring an all-Iroquois Art Market showcasing both traditional and contemporary arts and fine crafts. 10am-5pm on September 5th & 6th.

Highlights include:

• Sky Dancers from Six Nations Reserve (Ontario) performing traditional Iroquois social dances, with opportunities for the public to join in.
• Special Guest - Singer/Songwriter Darryl Tonemah performing his Native Americana music.
• Onondaga storyteller Perry Ground, captivating audiences with dramatic tales of daring feats and adventures
• A family activity area with hands-on crafts.
• Wildlife rehabilitator Kelly Martin, discussing regional conservation and presenting native animals, including birds of prey.
• The Museum’s archaeology department, offering artifact identification and demonstrations of early technologies like flintknapping.

The Sky Dancers are a part of the Museum family; having performed at every Labor Day Festival since 1982. The troupe will present traditional Haudenosaunee social dances and will invite audience members to the dance floor. Don’t be shy! Dancing shows gratitude and adds to the fun!

Our annual festival features an Art Market open exclusively to Iroquois artists. Both contemporary and traditional art forms are showcased. With this much talent in one place, visitors are assured of finding a treasure to take home.

You might even find yourself invited to the dance floor to participate! Onondaga storyteller Perry Ground returns with tales of daring feats and astounding adventures. Local wildlife rehabilitator Kelly Martin will be in attendance to discuss wildlife conservation in our bioregion and display a variety of wild animals including birds of prey. The Museum’s archeology department will be available to help identify archeological finds and give demonstrations of flintknapping and other early technologies. There will be a children's area with art & traditional crafts activities, and an opportunity to sample some delectable Native foods from our Haudenosaunee food vendors!
