Automotive Graduates Earn Scholarships at BOCES

ALBANY/SCHOHARIE -- Several Automotive Trades Technology Class of 2026 graduates of Capital Region BOCES earned scholarships as a result of their academic, civic and professional pursuits at the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center.

During ceremonies for the CTE Albany and Schoharie campuses, the students were presented with scholarships from colleges, community groups and elected officials.

Schoharie CTE Automotive Trades Technology students earning scholarships, their home school district and the scholarship are as follows:

Zachary Trippany, Schalmont—The Ernie Anderson Memorial Scholarship

Jason Rosado, Duanesburg—Schoharie Valley Region AACA Scholarship

Austin Bulger, Cobleskill—Schoharie Valley Region AACA Scholarship

Andrey Krupatkin, Duanesburg—Schoharie Valley Region AACA Scholarship

Darin Govel, Guilderland—Schoharie Valley Region AACA Scholarship

Albany CTE Automotive Trades Technology students earning scholarships, their home school district and the scholarship are as follows:

Lark Abraham, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake—Frontier Sno-Riders CTE Scholarship

Sage Steenburg, Scotia-Glenville—The Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) and University of Northwest Ohio (UNOH) Diesel Truck Technician Scholarship

Andrew Satterday, North Colonie—State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli Student Achievement Award

Students in the two-year Automotive Trades Technology program at Capital Region BOCES learn everything from computerized diagnostics to hands-on repairs while gaining the skills to service and maintain all types of cars and light trucks. Students are prepared to enter industry or pursue higher education and earn professional certifications that will aid them no matter the path they choose.
