COBLESKILL - The Cobleskill Fire Department celebrated John Copland at the Annual Fire Department Banquet. He has devoted 50 years to fire service in New York State. He has 25 years with Carmel Fire Department in Putnam County where he became Chief and 25 years in Cobleskill serving our community. In Cobleskill John has worn many hats, Past Rescue Squad Captain, Past Fire Police Captain, and now Department Chaplain.
