Cocaine Arrest Following Traffic Stop

CENTRAL BRIDGE — On January 27, 2026, at approximately 12:22 AM, Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on South Main St. in Central Bridge after observing a vehicle committing multiple Vehicle & Traffic law violations. During the stop, deputies learned that the driver, Carlton Moxham, 40, of Central Bridge, had a revoked driver’s license. While interviewing Moxham, deputies observed items consistent with drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. When Moxham was taken into custody, he was found to be in possession of cocaine and additional drug paraphernalia. Moxham was transported to the Schoharie County Sheriff’s Office where he will be held pending arraignment.

Moxham was charged with the following offenses:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (Class B Felony)

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree (Misdemeanor)

Manufacturing Drug Related Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor)

Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd Degree (Misdemeanor)

Various Vehicle and Traffic Law offenses
