Decoration Day Ceremony to Honor Civil War Veterans at Old Stone Fort Cemetery

SCHOHARIE - On Saturday, May 30 at 11:00 AM, community members are invited to gather at Old Stone Fort Cemetery for a Decoration Day observance honoring the courage and sacrifice of Civil War veterans.

Participants will come together to place flowers on the headstones of Civil War veterans buried in the cemetery, ensuring that their service and legacy are remembered and respected. The event offers an opportunity for families, friends, and neighbors to join in a meaningful act of remembrance and community reflection.
