Life changes. No warning. No clues. One minute to the next and then the shift comes, seemingly out of nowhere.
Subtly, it happens. The wind whispers to the passing clouds that drift off carrying the news and the cries of despair can be heard from afar.
Yet, the world continues to turn. LIFE is so very precious. Each and every moment…yet we act as if it will always find us wearing the same attire indicating that the party remains here on earth…and we’re all invited…until one invite gets misplaced. Then the stark reality hits us…”but wait”...”we’re not done”...
Oh but we are…life changes and those left behind remain shocked especially if we were unprepared for this shift to come for a loved one.
But it has…and this can’t be undone…we fall on our knees begging for more time on their behalf…but then the reality becomes a painful acknowledgement that we’ve been left behind.
The message and the meaning are ONE in the same…
Stop wasting time…it’s NOT on your side. It’s waning.
Start recognizing the beauty all around and celebrate the littlest of things.
Take in the joyful things…even if they’re not yours…if they’re shared then it’s your invitation to believe life can be more.
The memories you make are the gift you give…so make great memories.
The gifts..the physical ones will not matter in a while…but the smiles will remain on those that were loved by you when you took time to make them special.
When the time comes…say farewell. Holding on will not make a difference.
Remember this is your life and theirs as they are meant to be recalled…with a deep sense of gratitude until you meet again.
