MIDDLEBURGH - Thanksgiving activities across Middleburgh elementary grades turned learning into a celebration last week.

Students strengthened skills in math, writing, history, and public speaking. Some even created their own puppets and took turns entertaining their classmates with Thanksgiving jokes. After reading “Balloons Over Broadway,” the first- and second-grade students fashioned their own parade.
