MIDDLEBURGH —The Middleburgh Library Board of Trustees held its annual meeting on Monday, May 18, welcoming both new and current board members. Jim Schilling got these photos for us.

The brief session was highlighted by the official swearing-in of newly elected trustees Carrie Foland and Sarah Hunt. The board also recognized its new slate of officers for the upcoming term, including Co-Presidents Diane Stewart and Kelly Rossmann, and Secretary Leanne Baker.

Following the adjournment of official business, attendees gathered to share a slice of cake. While the library board traditionally uses the dessert to bid farewell to departing trustees, this year’s celebration focused on honoring the current members' continued service together.
