Troopers stationed at SP Cobleskill arrested a Middleburgh woman for Falsely Reporting an Incident 3rd degree (class A Misdemeanor) following an investigation into an alleged menacing complaint.   

Tara A. Goss, age 47, was arrested following an investigation into a report in late February she was menaced by a man with a gun.  Investigation into the incident revealed the menacing was a false claim which never occurred but was reported to police.     

Troopers charged Goss with Falsely Reporting an Incident 3rd and issued her an appearance ticket returnable in Middleburgh Town Court on June 9, 2021.
