New York State Police will be hosting a free child passenger car seat check at the Delaware County Fair all week

Dates: Monday, August 17, 2026 – Saturday, August 22, 2026

Time: 12 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Location: Delaware County Fair located at 12 Fair Street, Walton, NY

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on-site to:

Inspect your car seat

Ensure proper installation

Answer questions and provide guidance

Help you feel confident your child is traveling safely

No appointment is necessary but are encouraged by calling Troop C Traffic at (607)561-7400.

Please bring your child with you (if possible)

Bring your car seat manual and vehicle manual

Allow time for your check
