Roxbury Arts Group Offers an Afternoon of Fun for Families and Friends in the New Workshop, Family Collaborative Canvas Aug. 29

STAMFORD — Taking place at Headwaters Arts Center at 66 Main Street, Stamford, on Saturday August 29, 1–3p, this event encourages family and friends to work together to create a unique piece of art on a large 36” x 36” canvas. An excellent activity to commemorate a special event or for just a fun day out, this creative experience will help participants make memories while they make art.

Participants will take inspiration from color, materials, and shared experiences as they work together to create a large mixed media artwork, with no goal in mind other than to enjoy the experience.

Canvas, paint, ink, collage, sequins, stitching, pastels, and much more will be provided, and staff will be on hand for guidance. Participants are encouraged to bring personal elements to collage or sew onto the collaborative masterpiece.

No experience is necessary; this creative experience is simply a way to let go and have fun with loved ones. Despite their level of experience, participants may find that they make beautiful things when they work together and enjoy the process.

This workshop is offered with tiered pricing at $25 | $45 | $75 per group. Tiered pricing is a pricing structure that allows folks to select the price point that aligns with their current financial situation and also supports the health and sustainability of the Roxbury Arts Group (RAG). Tier 2 represents the actual cost of the workshop, while tier 3 makes it possible for RAG to make programming more widely accessible at the tier 1 price.
