SCHOHARIE - The Schoharie Chapter NSDAR deeply regrets the difficult decision to leave the Wreaths Across America (WAA) program. Although the nationwide program has seen much success over the years, in our area we have struggled to manage the details of the program. Accessing distant cemeteries that may be closed for winter, heavy snows covering veteran graves, and the inability to have ceremonies due to weather are some of the reasons we have made this decision.
