SCHOHARIE - Schoharie Central School is seeking a new assistant principal for the elementary school after the current one left for Scotia-Glenville Middle School last month.
Marci Tebbano left for Scotia-Glenville Middleburgh on November 3. School board members accepted her resignation at their November 14 meeting.
The district is seeking a new elementary school assistant principal, according to Superintendent David Blanchard.
In other personnel moves, board members:
* Accepted the resignation of Dave Russell as Athletic Director, effective November 27.
* Accepted the resignation of Stephanie Palmatier, part-time teacher aide, effective retroactive to the end of the day on November 10.
* Appointed Lenorah Pierce, full-time teacher aide (bus aide), Salary $21,374.00 per SCEA Contract, six hours/day, additional time as needed, according to school calendar, effective retroactive to October 23.
* Named Rebbecca LaPoint, part-time teacher aide, salary $15.36/hour per SCEA Contract, three hours/day, additional time as needed, according to School Calendar, effective November 15.

* Accepted the resignation of Anthony Monescalchi as Modified Boys Basketball Coach for the 2023-24 Winter Sports Season in order to accept JV Boys Basketball Coach position.
