HAINES FALLS — A guided circuit hike of South Mountain will be held at 9 a.m. July 12.

The hike will include stops at historic Puddingstone-Stone Hall, Star Rock, Boulder Rock, Druid Rocks, Fairy Spring and Lemon Squeezer. Some bushwhacking is expected, and participants should bring lunch or snacks.

Bob Gildersleeve will lead the hike, which is rated moderate. The route is 1.75 miles round trip and includes 280 feet of elevation gain.
