June 6th: Walk & Talk : All About our Local forests with Al Martel, 10:00 AM @ 665 Bull Hill Road (Riedls). In this walk of about 30-40 minutes, Al Martel will teach us about our local forests. Get some physical activity while enjoying nature and learning about plants, trees, and the different birds and other wildlife that inhabit the forest. Bring your own lunch and hang out at the pavilion at the pond. Not into walking but want to join us anyway? Hang out at the pavilion during the walk.
June 8th: Board of Directors Meeting, 5:30 Conesville Town Hall
June 15th: Full Membership Meeting. Join us as we reflect and plan. From programs to newsletters, fundraisers to research, we want to hear your input! 6:00 PM. Conesville Chapel Church.
July 2026
July 4th: Parade in Flat Creek, line up 11:30, parade at 12 noon. We hope you will be able to join us for this annual small town celebration. More details to be discussed at June 15th's membership meeting. We'd love to hear your ideas on how to make our float/participation something to remember!
July 10th: Catskill Mountain String Band 6:00 PM at the Church with Strawberry Shortcake.

July 29th: Dutch Apple Cruise Field Trip (RSVP Required)
We invite our members and the larger community to join us at Dutch Apple Cruise Line for a private cruise (you provide your own transportation: 141 Broadway, Albany NY 12202). We will board at 3:00 PM. $35 includes unlimited drink package. Snack bar will be open. August 22nd: Local musicians The Son Dogs: Mike Fleischmann and Mike Fleischmann Jr. perform at the Conesville Chapel Church. 6:00 pm with ice cream social.
August 17th : NYS Fire Towers: The past, the present, and the future. 6:00 PM Conesville Chapel Church
Climb the stairs as the fire tower system was developed in New York State, had great success, then adjusted to societal changes. Have we gotten to the top yet? What will the future view hold?
Join us for a presentation that will include the development of the fire tower system across the state. Wewill then hear why the towers ceased to be used for fire spotting purposes and their current role, with a focus on nearby Leonard Hill Fire Tower
