SCHOHARIE – The Schoharie Library invites everyone to the grand finale of an event-filled summer on Tuesday, August 25, 4-6pm. The Summer Reading Wrap-up Party will include karaoke, kids’ activities, make-your-own ice cream sundaes, and book giveaways. It’s also the last chance to turn in summer reading tracking sheets for prizes. The band Feral Children** will perform starting at 4:30pm.
Feral Children** is a crowd-pleasing local Roots-Rock/Americana powerhouse performing original music and cover tunes. The band includes multiple vocalists, acoustic and electric guitars, bass, lap steel guitar, harmonica, percussion, and drums.
The party is open to all ages, free of charge, no RSVP necessary.

Upcoming programs include an evening with Katie Farrell, local author of The Dahlia Farm, on September 16 at 6:30pm; the new Scribble Club on Saturday, September 19, 10:30am-12pm, for teens and adults to play around with art; and For the Love of Books, an informal book chat, on September 22 at 5:30pm.
The Schoharie Library is located at 103 Knower Avenue, Schoharie; the parking lot and handicap accessible main entrance are on Bridge Street, with on-street parking on Knower Avenue.
