SCHOHARIE - The sales was open and busy early Saturday at the annual town-wide garage sales in Schoharie but torrential bands of rain closed up the works shortly after 11am. About 10 vendors were set up in the county parking lot across from the county building but the rains sent them scrambling before noon.
