DELHI — Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced the arrest of a Norwich resident on a charge of Criminal Trespass.

On Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, Sheriff’s Deputies were called to Saputo, a company located on State Highway 10 in the Town of Delhi, for a report of a female trespassing on the property.

Upon arrival, Deputies located a female subject, and identified her as 60-year-old, Ann West, of Norwich, NY.  Subsequent investigation determined that West had trespassed upon the property, and in doing so, had unlawfully entered a building and had stolen property from the company.

Deputies subsequently arrested and charged West with one count of Criminal Trespass in the third degree and Petit Larceny, both class A Misdemeanors of the New York State Penal Law. 

West was released on appearance tickets and was directed to appear in the Town of Delhi Court at a later date to answer the charges.
