Troop 56 Honors Four Eagle Scouts

LAWYERSVILLE — On Saturday, July 25th, Troop 56 held an Eagle Scout Court of Honor at the Lawyersville Reformed Church to celebrate four local Scouts that recently earned their Eagle Rank.  The Eagle Scout Award is the highest and most coveted rank in Scouting, the last major step in the advancement program that fewer than 4% of all Scouts in the United States reach.  The Scouts who were honored and their Eagle Service Projects that they completed are; Alexander Knowles - designed and installed a disc golf course at the Schoharie River Center, Kyle Lawyer - constructed and installed new signage for the George Landis Arboretum, Joey Manning - revitalized the Youth Activity room at the Cobleskill United Methodist Church, and Benjamin Walrath - designed, constructed and installed 4 benches and 2 fishing line recycling stations at the Cobleskill Reservoir.
