May 23 – Music On The Mountain with spaghetti and meatball 4-8pm at Summit Conservation Club, sponsored by the Summit Community Center Inc. Music by Pat Fowler Band 4-6pm and Patty and the Mygrain 6-8pm, all for $12.

May 25 – Memorial Day If you have an American flag to display please do. is a day to honor those who gave their lives in service.

May 25 – Memorial Day Service Richmondville 11:30am, across from the post office.

May 27 – Summit Tax Grievance Day 4-8pm at the town hall with Assessor Mike Yorke. For information contact Mike at 518-231-8088.

May 30 - Historic Cooking Workshop at the Charlotteville Schoolhouse, info to follow. Cooking and Eating Like Locals Over 100 Years Ago: A Cooking Workshop at the Charlotteville Schoolhouse, 9:30am-2:00pm, $10 fee to cover food costs. Registration required. June 13 – 10th Annual Youth Fishing Derby, 10 AM to 12 AM, rain date June 20th. Rt 10 Summit Lake. Registration starts at 9:30am. We provide the worms. Ages 5-15, prizes at the end of the contest for age groups 5-9 yrs old, 10-15 yrs old. Parking across from lake.

June 13 – Buffet Dinner at Charlotteville FD 5-7pm, Sausage & Peppers & Onions.

June 13 - Contra Dance at the Breakabeen Grange 7-10pm, Jon Potochnik with Peter Blue.

June 13-21- Primary Election early voting at Schoharie County Board of Elections 3rd floor, 284 Main St. Schoharie and The Community Library, 110 Union St., Cobleskill.

June 14- Flag Day

June 18 – Summit Town Board meeting 7pm.

June 21 – Fathers Day

June 21 - Charlotteville Schoolhouse Breakfast 8am-Noon - Table service, family-style dining featuring: Pancakes, French Toast, Eggs made to order, Sausage patties, Sausage gravy, Home-style potatoes, Coffee, Tea, OJ - Serving local maple syrup from Terrell’s Sugarhouse and local farm fresh eggs $12 adults, $5 children ages 6-12 children age 5 and under eat for free. Season-long 50/50 Raffle and bake sale.
