Glenn B. Whitney, born September 25, 1935, in Prattsville, NY, at the Carmen House, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025. He was the son of Eva (Johnson) Whitney and Leon James Whitney. Paul Tompkins, Jr., 84, of Ashland, NY, passed away at his home on February 1, 2025. Paul was born on August 8, 1940, a son of Paul Tompkins, Sr. and Gertrude (Spaulding) Tompkins. He was one of 14 children. He enlisted in the Army when he was 17 and served a two year term in Germany 1963-1965. Paul worked for NYS Department of Transportation for 29 years, retiring in 2001.
