Cobleskill (Schoharie County): Sharon Lee Warner 72, formerly of the Cobleskill and Middleburgh areas passed away Tuesday, May 19th at the Cobleskill Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
Sharon was born February 2, 1954 in Hessville, NY, a daughter of Louis Warner and Mary (Dart) Schaff. She enjoyed many years attending the day program at Lexington ARC Schoharie campus where she made many friends and participated in programs. Sharon loved to dance, listen to music, car and van rides, being included in everything and anything, having her hair and nails done and simply enjoying life full of laughter.
Survivors include her family: siblings; Judy A. Hadsell of Central Bridge, Anthony J. (Ida) Warner of Hartford, and Joyce M. Borthwick of Central Bridge, her step-father; Loren G. Schaff of Schoharie, step-sister, Sue Hazzard and several nieces and nephews. Sharon was predeceased by her parents, her step-mother Edna E. Warner and her step-brothers and sisters; Eileen Park, Theodore VanDycke, Mabel Larkin and Robert VanDycke.
A period of visitation will be held from 10AM to 12PM on Thursday, May 28th at the Robert A. Guffin Funeral Home, 108 Chapel St. Cobleskill followed by the funeral service with burial in the Lawyersville Cemetery. Many thanks to her extended family from the Schoharie ARC and Lexington for all the love they have shown to Sharon throughout the years and many thanks to Cobleskill Regional Hospital for their loving care.
