JEFFERSON – Francis "Frank" J. Laubmier, 68, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, in South Carolina. Born in Stamford, NY on August, 16, 1957, Frank spent his early years in Jefferson, where he lived and worked on the family farm before graduating from college in 1978.
Following his graduation, Frank began a long career in agriculture, working for Pulaski Agway Farm Service for many years. He later worked alongside his brother, Mike, for five years before continuing his career with several other companies until retiring in 2025.
Franks was predeceased by his parents, Frank X and Maria G. Laubmeier and his sister, Christine Laubmeier.
He is lovingly remembered by his brothers, Steve (Donna) Laubmeier and Mike Laubmeier; his sisters, Liz (Ray) DeJoy and Karen (Steve) Holeczko; his nieces and nephews, Leagh (Mike) King, Morgan, Jeffy (Marissa), Taylor, Byron (Rachel), and Ben; as well as many great-nieces, great-nephes, cousins, extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life honoring Frank will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 12 noon at the Jefferson Firehouse, Creamery St., Jefferson NY, 12093.
