Joseph J. Marsh, of Gilboa, died at his home on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
Joseph was born 91 years ago on March 20, 1935 in Catskill to Loretta C. (Hackett) and Damian J. Marsh, graduated from Grand Gorge Central School in 1953 and honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1953 - 1957.
A gifted and talented carpenter and tradesman, he worked with the Carpenter's Union for many years before retiring. There wasn't anything he couldn't build from the ground up, including his home and garage, including electrical and plumbing work.
He enjoyed the serenity of nature and hunting, as well as tinkering on projects at home, especially proud of restoring his 1930 Model A Ford himself.
Joseph's surviving family include his sister: Catherine Decker and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister: Marie Haines and his brothers: John and Michael Marsh.
In keeping with Joseph's wishes, there will be no formal services and his family thanks you for remembering them and him through this time.
