In Memory of Leah A Borst

June 2,1963 to September 2, 2026

Leah A Borst, of Middleburgh, was welcomed into the arms of her Savior on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Her illness was sudden, but she was surrounded by her loving family when God called her home.

Leah was born 63 years ago in Gorman, TX. on June 2,1963 to Oneta (Rorick) and Hollis Waddle. On March 22,1993 Leah met Todd Borst, the love of her life, and they've spent many wonderful years together raising four children and building bonds with her family that will truly be missed. She loved spending time with her grandchildren too and was excited to be expecting her first great-grandchild in April of 2027.

Caring and compassionate, Leah would always lend an ear always had sound advice. She was a support for all who knew her. She loved to go for her evening drive to see all the deer and critters, or casting a line in the water to try and catch a "big one." She loved cookouts and will be deeply missed at the family gatherings.

Her cat "little man" kept her busy and Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, and Finding Big Foot were a few of her favorite shows in the evening, as was wrestling, when Todd wouldn't fall asleep on her.  Leah enjoyed sitting outside and watching all the birds come to her feeders, beautiful flowers and we can't forget BINGO!

Loving her and holding Leah in their hearts forever are her husband: Todd; her mother: Oneta Rorick; her children and grandchildren: Beatrice (Mark) and Caleb, Conor and Crimsin VanNostrand; Jake (Sierrah) Bateholts; Billiejo Moya (David Wainwright) and Trinity, Keston, Kalin, and Kayden Moya, Lena (James) Commisso and Kirsten Daily, Brian Reynolds, Rainy Palmatier, Jameson and Madeline Commisso; her sister Joyce and her bother Albert. Leah was predeceased by her father: Hollis Waddle.

All are invited to a visitation with Leah's family from 2:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC 134 River Street, Middleburgh, NY 12122.  A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM, following the visitation.
