About

Owners Dasha and Patrick Mattia created the shop as more than a place to grab a cup on the way through town. Their vision was a comfortable gathering place where neighbors could meet, visitors could settle in, and familiar faces could become part of the rhythm of everyday life in the village.

The coffee program features beans from Oslo Coffee Roasters, complemented by espresso drinks, cappuccinos, cold brew, flavored and seasonal lattes, teas, and other café favorites. The counter also offers breakfast selections and an assortment of baked goods, with Dasha’s fresh-made scones becoming a particular specialty. Flavors change with the season and inspiration, alongside croissants, pastries and other sweet and savory choices.

The shop itself reflects the story behind it. Patrick transformed the former commercial space while Dasha drew on years of hospitality experience to shape what happens inside it. Large Main Street windows, exposed brick and a bright café interior provide the setting for morning coffee runs, conversations between neighbors, breakfast stops and visitors discovering Middleburgh.

Community has remained central to the business as it has grown. Middleburgh Coffee Company has also explored expanding its role as a gathering place through workshops, arts and crafts, educational activities, small events and opportunities for local people and business owners to connect.

Whether you’re starting the morning with an espresso, stopping for a fresh scone, meeting someone over coffee or simply exploring Main Street, Middleburgh Coffee Company offers a distinctly local place to stop and stay awhile.
