United Ministry of Delhi

The United Ministry of Delhi is celebrating an important milestone this year - their 50th anniversary. 50 years ago, the 2nd Presbyterian Church of Delhi and the United Methodist Church of Delhi joined together as one United Ministry. Since then, the church has had a rich history of faith, music, and community, right in the center of the Village on the Square.

In addition to weekly worship services and various ministries, the United Ministry invites their building to be used by community groups at no or low cost, making the church a vibrant and integral part of the Delhi community. Over the years, these community groups have included the Food Pantry, Play School, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Rotary Club, Al Anon, Helios Care, play groups, senior Tai Chi, physical therapists, and many more.

As a way to celebrate with the broader community, the United Ministry is hosting two special events this year:

Summer Music Concert - Saturday, July 18th- 2pm

The public is invited to a Saturday celebration of the United Ministry’s rich music program, including past and current choirs, instrumental solos and duets, and more. If you’ve been involved in the United Ministry’s choir program over the years, you’re invited to be part of the choir again for this special concert! Rehearsal will start at 10am on Saturday, July 18th - please email office@umdelhi.org to RSVP to sing.

Fall Worship & Celebration - Sunday, October 25th

The public is invited to a special Sunday worship (10:30am) and catered lunch afterwards to celebrate 50 years of the United Ministry.
