Amsterdam Resident Arrested for Driving on Suspended License

DELHI — Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced the arrest of an Amsterdam, NY resident for driving with a suspended license.

On Sunday evening, August 11th, 2024, Sheriff’s Deputies were patrolling on Main Street in the Village of Delhi, when a vehicle was observed traveling at a high rate of speed. Upon conducting a traffic stop, Deputies identified that driver as Reysha M. Solivan, age 30, of Amsterdam, NY, a check of the Reysha driver’s license revealed that their driving privileges were suspended in the State of New York for failure to answer summons.

Deputies subsequently arrested Reysha. for the charge of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor and issued traffic summonses for Speed in Zone, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, Unlicensed Operator, all of which are violations in the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law. Solivan was released and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Delhi Court at a later date to answer the charges.
