COBLESKILL - According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department, Kalie Petrone, 19, was arrested on charges of animal cruelty. The Cobleskill resident allegedly did not feed or provide water for her horses. The arrest press release states that Petrone did not provide food or water for a period of 48 hours. She was arrested last Friday and issued an appearance ticket for February 23rd at the Charleston Town Court.

According to officials, the horse was brought to a veternarian but needed to be euthanized Saturday.
