Masonville Man Arrested for Terroristic Threat

MASONVILLE - Masonville, NY – Today, Sheriff Craig DuMond announced the arrest of a Masonville man for making a Terroristic Threat. 

On January 10th, 2024, Sheriff’s Deputies received a complaint that an individual had made threats of arson towards a local business. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that 31-year-old Thomas G. Harris did make the threat to “burn down” the local business’s headquarters on a recorded line while talking to the business’s after-hours dispatch center. 

On January 12th, 2024, Deputies subsequently arrested and charged Harris with Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor and Making a Terroristic Threat, a Class D Felony.

Harris was transported to and held at the Delaware County Correctional Facility to await centralized arraignment.
