FULTONHAM —With favorable weather last weekend, the Shaul family reopened its farm stand Saturday, June 27, at 3436 State Route 30 in Fultonham. The farm stand is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Our fields are beginning to fill with an amazing bounty of flavor-filled produce,” Becky Shaul said. “Take a leisurely summer drive deep into the Schoharie Valley to find a tremendous variety of farm-fresh produce.”
James Schilling visited the stand Saturday and photographed customers and the reopening, including Joe and MaryJene Tanski purchasing produce from Shaul, who is known for her poetic descriptions of rural life in Schoharie County.
The Shaul family also has supported the surrounding community through donations of fruits and vegetables to the P. Keith Nelson “Breakabeen” Food Pantry over the years.
