Joshua Walther is a journalist and the current Editor of the Cobleskill Herald section for The Mountain Eagle. He reports extensively on local government, public events, and community developments across Schoharie County municipalities, including regular attendance at Town of Middleburgh board meetings and Village of Schoharie sessions. Josh focuses on reporting public policy, conducting candidate interviews, reviewing area businesses, and proofreading the newspaper's weekly layouts.

Editor, Cobleskill Herald: Promoted to this primary leadership role at The Mountain Eagle in October 2025.

Deputy Editor: Served as the paper's Deputy Editor from August 2022 to October 2025, operating out of Middleburgh.
