Prinkipo Mediterranean Folk Music Ensemble to Perform at Middleburgh Library

Prinkipo is a New York City based ensemble dedicated to performing traditional and folk music from Turkey, Greece, the Balkans, and across the Mediterranean. Their vibrant repertoire features rebetiko, folk dance music, and classical traditions, offering audiences a rich and immersive musical journey.

This special program is designed to be welcoming and inclusive for all ages and backgrounds, especially families. In addition to their performance, the musicians will incorporate storytelling and interactive elements, inviting audience members to ask questions, explore the instruments, and learn about the diverse regions and cultural traditions behind the music.

All members of Prinkipo are highly trained professional musicians with years of experience studying, performing, and sharing their craft. Recognized within their respective musical communities, they bring not only exceptional artistry but also a passion for education as dedicated teaching artists.

Prinkipo will perform at 4pm, Sunday, July 12th at the Middleburgh Library. The performance is free, but space is limited, so reservations are suggested – please call (518) 827-5142.
